Why United Way
There are people all around us who need help. When you give to United Way, you pool your gift with your neighbor's to help people with critical needs, provide programs for our youth, and provide services for the elderly and disabled. Your one gift can do so much, for so many. Together, we can make a difference in our community.
Mission Statement
United Way of Van Buren County seeks to improve the lives of residents by funding the local agencies which identify and meet the needs of families, children, youth, and adults in Van Buren County.
The Board Members of VBC United Way encourage you to make a donation. For 17 years United Way has supported agencies that help meet the needs of the community. VBC United Way is a local organization. More than 96 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to the agencies. The remainder is used for administrative and campaign costs. The VBC United Way is run soley by volunteers.

250 Children received new shoes. |
| 39 Children received new coats. |
34,533 Congregate Meals Served. |
| 23,342 Home Delivered Meals. |
2,822 Seniors received transportation. |
| 203 People were helped with Travelers and Community Services. |
13 Battered and Homeless women and children were sheltered. |
